His mother, Bow-sim Mark, is identified as a Wushu and Tai Chi practitioner, although his father, Klyster Yen, is identified as a newspaper editor. When Yen was two many years old, he moved to Hong Kong with his loved ones plus they shifted to Boston, Massachusetts, United States when he was 11. His more youthful sister, Chris Yen, can be a martial artist and actress, who came out inside the 2007 movie Adventures of Johnny Tao: Rock close to the Dragon. Read more

Tripitikas South Boston teenager Jason is a fan of martial arts films and wakes from a dream of a battle between the Monkey King and the soldiers in the clouds of heaven. Visit to a pawnshop in Chinatown to buy DVDs Wuxia and discover a golden staff. On his way home, Jason is harassed by thugs trying to use him to help rob the Hop-store owner. Hop tries to fight the thieves with the staff, but is shot and wounded. He tells Jason to deliver the staff to its rightful owner and Jason flees with the staff. It is cornered on the roof by hooligans and nearly shot as well, but he is pulled from the roof by the staff and falls back on the pavement. Read more
